We met at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday 27 July 2026. Some of us drew the arches, sculpture and light inside, while others headed into St James Gardens for trees, monuments and views back towards the cathedral.
About the place
Liverpool Cathedral was completed in 1978, after construction spanning much of the twentieth century. Its monumental interior and the gardens below give sketchers very different ways to study the same part of Liverpool. Read the place history.
