This modern and stylish food hall, located conveniently on Mount Pleasant, offers a vibrant mix of culinary delights and a sleek aesthetic, providing the perfect backdrop for our latest sketching session.
A Feast for the Senses: Sketching the Modern Charm of Zaman
Stepping inside Zaman Crepes & Coffee is like stepping into a world of contemporary design. Exposed brick walls softened by warm lighting create a welcoming ambiance, while the various food stalls tantalize the taste buds with their diverse offerings. However, it was the hidden gem nestled at the back that truly captured our sketchers’ attention – a charming covered rear courtyard adorned with a captivating floral display. This unexpected oasis of colourful blooms instantly sparked the creative spirit of our urban sketchers.

Most of our sketchers, drawn to the beauty of the floral courtyard, settled in with their tools, eager to translate its vibrant colours and delicate details onto paper. Some meticulously rendered the intricate patterns of the flowers, their pencils dancing across the page to capture the subtle variations in hues and textures. Others opted for a more impressionistic approach, capturing the overall ambiance of the space, the gentle hum of conversation, and the inviting tables adorned with colourful flowers.

Nestled within the stylish confines of Zaman Crepes & Coffee, with steaming cups of their famous coffee and delicious treats in hand, conversations flowed freely.
