On Monday 25 August 2025, we sketched in the Bluecoat courtyard and garden on School Lane. Doorways, decorative brickwork, plants and people provided subjects, with photographs showing work taking shape before the throwdown.
About the place
The Bluecoat building dates from 1717, when it served as a charity school. The Bluecoat Society of Arts secured its future as an arts centre in 1927. About the place.
