On Monday 25 May 2026, at the Bluecoat on School Lane, our sketchbooks filled with courtyard doorways, trees, paving, flowers and rooflines. The collection includes close studies of leaves and stems as well as wider views through the garden.
About the place
The Bluecoat building dates from 1717, when it served as a charity school. The Bluecoat Society of Arts secured its future as an arts centre in 1927. Read more about the place.
